Well, the Westin has the more typical Canal view. The Danieli is not at the Canal itself but more on the lagoon, the view from there gives you more the feeling of an open lake view whereas the view from the Westin gives you more of a "street view" - however the street is made of water....
Thank you for your feedback. We looked up the two hotels on google maps and figured out the lagoon vs. canal view. What has me torn is the terrace. It is guaranteed in the "Unique View with terrace" at the Westin but no guarantee at the Danieli. Now I'm leaning toward the Westin based on that...
We love to sit out on the balcony, drink local wine, and enjoy the view while on vacation. I emailed Danieli inquiring about balcony availability. I made reservations at both since they are the same price and am going to ponder this some more.
