I agree, both ROS & SGS have their own merits, which is why I chose to stay at both. And moving between the two couldn't have been handled any better by both staff. On my check out day, early on-- I told the front desk at SGS I wanted to check out early and asked if they could see if I could get into ROS early. They called, made all arrangements, had a cab waiting for me while I packed-- and upon my arrival (at about 9:30am!)at ROS I was met by 3 staffers at the front door, with a flowered 'lei'/ a welcome drink and an escort up to my club level room, where they proceeded to check me in at my leisure. They then told me of the various services of the hotel, and also that breakfast was still being served, and I was welcome to partake (complimentary, of course--as a Platinum). When I mentioned my very early flight the next am (6:25), they asked if I wanted a breakfast box made up for my trip to the airport!!--I declined, but thought it was a nice jesture.
PS--the staff at SGS were equally welcoming and accomodative. All this at very low rates.
