I generally like how UA boards simply because they seperate the elite ranks. I've been on CO flights with 60-70 elites, so much for priority boarding. However on the otherside because the bulk of UA elites don't use the Red Carpet if you arrive at the boarding area while boarding is in progress you essentially just have to get in line and deal with the gate lice. Where as at CO you can just go right up to the Blue Carpet and board. At least this is my experience as a CO Plat grouped as a Star Gold on UA.

Not sure how it's political? There are plenty of repubs and democrats serving in our military and I see maybe 5 or 6 all year on all my flights.

They certainly deserve to board early IMO but not really looking to get into an omni thread here.
