I am not sure where you are going with this comment but please don't tell me you are complaining about military personal boarding first. Also they are generally grouped in with either people needing special assitance or First Class, it really depends. I don't think I've ever been on a flight with more than 2 or 3 service men/women.
I generally like how UA boards simply because they seperate the elite ranks. I've been on CO flights with 60-70 elites, so much for priority boarding. However on the otherside because the bulk of UA elites don't use the Red Carpet if you arrive at the boarding area while boarding is in progress you essentially just have to get in line and deal with the gate lice. Where as at CO you can just go right up to the Blue Carpet and board. At least this is my experience as a CO Plat grouped as a Star Gold on UA.
