Your opinion of Continental's boarding sequence?
I was wondering what other Continental and United flyer's opinions are on the current Continental boarding sequence?
Namely...
Priority 1: Members of the US armed forces (Blue Carpet)
Priority 2: Premium/First Class passengers (Blue Carpet)
Priority 3: OP Elites/Star Gold (Blue Carpet)
Priority 4: Rows at the rear of the aircraft
Priority 5: Rows at the front of the aircraft
This sequence differs somewhat from United's boarding sequence, and I wonder which one will win out:
1) Global Services, 1K and Premium Class pax (Red Carpet)
2) Premier Executive, Premier
3) Zones 1 to 4, or 1 to 6, in order
My comment on Continental's current boarding sequence is that it appears to be somewhat politically driven rather than driven by the value of the customer group to Continental. I was wondering what others thought about this sequence.
