The fuel surcharge is an excellent tool.

They can put up adds for $199 each way and it looks absolutely awesome!

99% of the people out there do not know what a fuel surcharge is, and assume its a TAX, and thus unavoidable. Most people dont know that the fuel surcharge goes straight into AC's pocket.

Joe: look $400 to London! Looks awesome, what a sale!
Joe: damn government, taxes are $500!
Joe: ah well still a great deal, 25% off!
