There's a way to do it

This is pretty easy to do, actually.

When you press the Book Now button you get a pop-up box called Book a Trip (unless you have Flash blocked).

At the bottom of the Book a Trip pop-up box is a link for Advanced Search. Select that option and you will be able to book multiple passengers, open jaws, and even custom connections.
