QF WP: i prefer R&R over theme parks. not into crowds. went to honolulu last xmas and new years and stayed at the royal hawaiian. what a mistake. had to rent a car for the entire trip to escape the wall-to-wall people. so, i guess noosa is the call.

tinkybelle: good idea about the four points. i have heard amazing things about that property. i already have a five night award reservation at the westin sydney. i'll have to think about your suggestion.

lots to think about. is the great barrier reef a MUST SEE? and, if so, i need to stay on the gold coast, not the sunshine coast, right?
