Although I absolutely LOVE the Westin Sydney I think it is worth staying at the 4 points over NYE if you can score a harbour view.
I think we paid $210 for the 30th and $388 for the 31st for a maratime suite.
The can waiver the blockouts for plat members.
if you can upgrade to a marina view suite you will get a better view of the 9pm fireworks-but would need to walk to the observatory hill for the midnight spectacular.
