Just got back from the Rose Hall. I only stayed 1 nite because I earned 3 nights from a priority club promo and stayed the other 3 nights for free at the Holiday Inn down the road. We arrived around 3 in the afternoon. This was a diamond force for 40,000 points prior to them becoming an all inclusive only resort. I am not sure how they will handle old reservations. The price showed 439.00. I took a taxi which was very easy.(look for the JUTA stand) There should be no negotiating for 1-4 people. It is $35.00 one way. I knew prior to going what my room upgrade was going to be. It went from Std room to Oceanview to Caribbean suite. I went to the check in counter for Hilton Honors. She was very nice and informed me that I had been upgraded and proceeded to put wristbands on my wife and I

. We were in for the free food and drink! We went to the room and it was a very nice 2 bedroom suite with a smaller sleeper sofa in the second room. We kinda wished our children were with us, but..oh well. It is not fancy like Hilton Cabo, but was very nice. They also gave us a bottle of wine in the room. The food was average and the drinks were pretty good. We both thought the waterslide was ALOT of fun and the lazy river was very nice. There were alot of shaded areas, but the ocean was just ok. Dirty(sandy) churning water. I liked that you got 2 nice towels per person. I would stay here again and I plan on it with the children. Every employee was very nice and I like that they speak English.
I don't know anything about the credit and in my opinion about the 40k to 60k jump is because it is now a mandatory All inclusive resort. I got lucky eating for free. Mine was a diamond force and it came thru the same day as approved.
