So I had read about the vote to strike by the union Waikiki for the staff of all of the SPG hotels. I called the hotel and the woman I spoke to said "we are here today and haven't been told to go home yet" Didn't give me a lot of confidence. I then had an online chat with SPG.Com. They hadn't heard of the possible strike and called the manager who said the hotel will operate as usual. Correct me if I am wrong, but how can that be if the staff is on strike? I have an upcoming reservation at Sheraton Waikiki and am just a bit confused.
