Yeah this deal was enough to get me to apply for a card finally. We always fly JetBlue when visiting my family in Boston, so it makes sense.

Now I have a question. I get 10k for my first purchase, then another 10k for spending $500 or more.

So say I used the card to buy 2 tickets from SEA-BOS, which will run us around $1000 if the prices stay the way they are for the days we're looking at... Will that get me the 10k for spending over $500, PLUS points for the flights themselves? Or only for the purchase itself?
