The CO website lists the following exclusion for the 24 hour refund:

Group tickets and tickets purchased using Western Union, cash or eCertificates are excluded.

Is eCertificate = ETC?

Is there any recent experience on a purchase extending the expiration date of the residual value?

Also, it seems to me if you buy a fully refundable fare > ETC amount, usnig an ETC as part of the payment and do the refund, the most you will lose is the ETC (which can still be significant), not the additional amount you paid, right?
