1 I havent selected a home airport yet, but most likely would be in one of the major Texas cities such as Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Midland, El Paso, or Corpus Christi.

2 Most destinations would be in the US, although I dont fly much.

3 I prefer the cheapest flying/hotel redemption option, economy seating is fine.

I have a 2nd Membership Rewards card as well as Starwood card, although the Starwood points dont appear to be connected to MR points.

The only airline point programs I am registered with are AA and Continental. Would my best bet be to register for Delta and transfer the points there? I heard they have a promotional bonus on moving points from Amex MR to Delta until 3-31-11.
