Hi epiding, hope you are doing well. I really can't answer this question yet but was told by a UA manager at ZRH that he sometimes uses the GVA-IAD route himself when he finds room upfront. I do know IM only does NC=1 in advance like ZRH-IAD, but haven't try it yet, and I stress yet.

Hope you clear and report back. And I really don't know if upsales are against UA policy, but we all hear at FT hear reports and I can tell you this is what was told to me. But she also said hardly anyone buys it and that day it was true.
