Domestic/transborder upgrades on any airlines is really not that big of a deal.

Both UA & AA wins out because of E+ & MRTC. We don't have to pay extra for H or higher and we'll be given those seats as long as we hold Elite status on those airlines. The pitch in MRTC & E+ is as good as J on AC's A320 & domestic 767.
