Then one of the idea on the menu is out when the cart gotten to me (Friend Noodle with Dim Sum), and finally, when I ask for the snack (BBQ Duck Noodle Soup) I was told it's ran out (it's only half way through the flight.

Must either be a lot of big eaters in J or they way under-stock their food storage....
