My wife has shared the CW flat bed with our daughter a couple of times, once when Miss JJ was 9 months old flying to and from TPA and the other time when she was 20 months to and from DXB. Both times were fine as both mum and daughter slept the entire journey. And I got to stretch out on my own !

I would certainly recommend this approach!
