We went for our wedding in March, my second time and my wife's first. We are both SPG Platinum and let the Laguna know it was our wedding.

At 20% occupancy they upgraded us to a Executive Suite on the 3rd floor. The big kahuna is the Sultan Suite. It is pretty much a separate house all to it self on the beachfront. I asked and they wouldn't even consider an upgrade to the Sultan.

They did however offer to "upgrade" us to a lagoon suite, which was $20 more than the executive suite if I were to pay for the room, for 12,000 points per night. That is right, 12,000 PER NIGHT. Needless to say we stayed where we were.

This was absolutely the ONLY negative I have to say about this hotel and the people in general. Both the Nusa Indah and the Laguna have the nicest staffs I have ever encountered and any Starwood hotel, bar none.
