The regular rooms are very nice (almost like a suite) and the regular suites are not really different from the rooms (just more square footage in a room arrangement that I personally did not find useful). But they do have some special suites and those are very, very nice. Doubt you can get one of those as an upgrade, though. I would save the money or points and use them in the spa instead (some very nice treatments at the spa, easy to spend more than your room rate there though).
