You can find CHEAP and I mean CHEAP Internet access in Kuta, a few dollar taxi trip away. The Sheraton business centers are very pricey as number_6 noted. I seem to recall the connection was better than a 14.4 modem but no speed demon. I think I paid about US$2/hour for a high speed connection in one of the many I'Net cafes in Kuta.
