In spring 2002 that access was a 14.4 modem; perhaps it has been replaced by high-speed access, but that seems rather unlikely for Bali. Also it is not free (something like USD 20 per hour, I remember being astonished at the pricing). This is the hotel that sent me a letter by surface mail instead of airmail (arrived 8 weeks later). They do things differently in Bali.
