OK, so probably a silly/dumb question here. I booked a Y ticket for myself and companion and subsequently moved to an earlier flight. Before making the change my upgrade status said "Upgrade Requested" (which I fully anticipated given that I've requested a companion upgrade). Now when I look at the itinerary it says "Upgrade - Contact Delta" in the upgrade status. Does anyone know what this means? (Trying to save myself a call to Delta if it's meaningless and means I should just wait it out until they clear the Medallion upgrades on my flight.)
