I am in a similar situation - ticketed on Feb 18 but no payment taken (and no authorization according to my bank and my own calculation of available credit and posted charges). And my experience was similar - first teh balance decreased to account for the authorization for the ticket, then the balance reverted to where it was before but no charge from BA.
