Check as often as you have 5-10 mins spare time. Airlines release point redemption seats to Hawaii closer to departure dates - Hawaii is not a business destination where last minute expensive fares will be purchased for business needs. People going to Hawaii typically book in advance as a holiday.
I would recommend getting on a one-stop flight aboard an american carrier. For example, YYZ-EWR-HNL or YYZ-ORD-HNL.
Check flights to HNL for this week - lots of availability. No reason to think it might be any different next Feb
