I find the F/L at T4 more comfortable than the TBIT oneworld lounge. (The latter can get vary crowded and the WiFi there is so slow as to be unusable at times).
I take the "Qantas" Airside security bus about 90 minutes before the scheduled TBIT deparure - it departs from T4 gate 44 on the hour and every ½ hour after 4PM.
The shuttle in addition to not requiring going through Security at TBIT (which can be an absolute zoo) gives you a real cool view of the airport.
