I presume that if I have a day pass I can leave to use the terminal restroom and be re-admitted without a problem?

My friend will have to drop me off around 730am next month, but my flight isn't until almost 2pm. If I can't SDC onto an earlier flight, I was considering getting a day pass to get some work done in (relative) peace.
