Terms and Conditions text for RR 2.0

When I briefly gained access this morning I grabbed the complete T&C text. Sorry I don't have time to redo the formatting:

What are the Rapid Rewards Terms and Conditions for Transition?
(Effective March 1, 2011)
Rapid Rewards is a rewards program offered by Southwest Airlines Co. for Southwest Airlines Customers. For purposes of these terms and conditions (hereinafter "program rules" or "rules") of membership, the terms "Southwest," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Southwest Airlines Co., and the term "the program" refers to Rapid Rewards. The terms "transition date," "launch date," "transition", and "program launch" refer to March 1, 2011, the date that Southwest Airlines launches the revised Rapid Rewards program and the revised Rapid Rewards Terms and Conditions become effective. The terms "Member," "Members," "you," and "your" apply to you as a Member of Rapid Rewards, the term "Account" refers to your Rapid Rewards membership account, and the term "points" refers to your Rapid Rewards Points earned after the transition date. Southwest reserves the right to amend, suspend, terminate, or change, with 30 days notice, the Terms and Conditions of the program, including but not limited to changing the points and Award levels, adding or deleting Partners, changing the terms for use of the Award at any time, and modifying or terminating the program. Rapid Rewards Members do not acquire property rights in accrued points and Awards. By enrolling in Rapid Rewards, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Membership
All existing Rapid Rewards Members prior to the transition date will be active Members in Rapid Rewards after the transition and will not need to re-enroll in the program.
Existing Members will retain the same Rapid Rewards Member account number after transition.
Upon transition, all Member account expiration dates will be set for 24 months from the transition date.
Members who have online accounts will maintain their same login credentials.
Rapid Rewards Standard and Freedom Awards
Standard and Freedom Awards are not associated with Rapid Rewards Points earned after the transition date.
Members who have unused, unbooked Standard and/or Freedom Awards in their account prior to the transition date will retain these Awards after the transition. The Awards will remain in the Members’ accounts and are available to be booked. The Awards will maintain their original Award number and expiration date.
Reservations for Standard or Freedom Awards booked prior to the transition date for travel dates beyond the transition date will not be affected.
After the transition, one Standard or Freedom Award will continue to be valid for one roundtrip Award flight to any city Southwest Airlines serves in the continental U.S.
After the transition date, Members will no longer have the option to convert two Standard Awards into one Freedom Award.
After the transition, Standard and Freedom Awards that were issued prior to the transition date and that expired within the 12 months preceding the transition date are eligible for a one-time only reissue for a $50 fee, payable by credit card only. Members have up to 12 months after the original expiration date to request the reissue by visiting www.southwest.com. The new expiration date for the Award will be one year from the date the reissue is processed.
Standard and Freedom Awards that were issued prior to the transition date and that expire after the transition date will be eligible for a one-time only reissue for a $50 fee, payable by credit card only. Members have up to 12 months after expiration date to request the reissue by visiting www.southwest.com. The new expiration date for the Award will be one year from the date the reissue is processed.
Standard Awards issued after the transition date will NOT be eligible for reissue beyond their original expiration date.
Travel on Standard and Freedom Awards must occur on scheduled service between origin and destination. If we do not offer scheduled service between any two cities, an unscheduled routing may be built. Unscheduled routings must be built using the most direct routes and the first available connecting flights. Arrival at destination must occur on the same day as departure from origin. An overnight stopover may not occur at any point between origin and destination. If an overnight stopover is scheduled, additional Award coupons must be used.
Reservations are required prior to arrival at the airport for use of Standard or Freedom Awards and must be made through southwest.com or our toll-free reservations number at 1-800-248-4377. When making your reservation, please advise the Customer Representative that a Rapid Rewards Award will be used for travel. At the time of reservation, the government-imposed September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 per roundtrip must be paid by credit card.
Rapid Rewards Standard Awards are subject to seat restrictions, and seats will not be available for Standard Award travel on all flights on all days. It may be particularly difficult to secure a seat to popular destinations around holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, President's Day, some weekends during Spring Break, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day to popular destinations.

Rapid Rewards Credits
Members who have Rapid Rewards credits in their account prior to the transition date will retain these credits after the transition. The credits will remain in the Members’ accounts and will maintain their original expiration date.
After the transition date, Members will have the one-time option to convert Rapid Rewards Points earned after transition into credits in order to reach a total of 16 credits and receive a Standard Award. The conversion of Rapid Rewards Points into credits to receive a Standard Award can only be completed online at www.southwest.com by Members logged into their Rapid Rewards Account.
Conversion rate will be 1,200 Rapid Rewards Points = 1 credit. For example, if a Member has 12 credits as of the transition date, 4,800 points will be required (1,200 points x 4 credits needed = 4,800 points) to receive a Standard Award.
Members must convert the total number of Rapid Rewards Points needed to reach the 16 credit threshold to receive a Standard Award. Credits are valid for 24 months from the date earned and after the transition date, credits will maintain their original expiration date. Credits not applied toward redemption of a Standard Award prior to their expiration date will be deleted from the Member’s Rapid Rewards account.
When converting Rapid Rewards Points into credits, the points and credits must come from the same Member’s account. Points and/or credits from two or more separate accounts cannot be combined for conversion and/or redemption of a Standard Award.
Standard Awards issued after transition as a result of converting points into credits will have an expiration date of one year from the date the Award is created. These Standard Awards cannot be extended beyond their expiration date.
Credits earned prior to the transition date (either by flying Southwest Airlines flights, or through qualifying purchases with Rapid Rewards Partners) but not deposited into the account at the time of transition will be posted to the account on or after the transition date as Rapid Rewards Points at the following rates:
0.25 (quarter) credit = 300 Rapid Rewards Points
0.5 (half) credit = 600 Rapid Rewards Points
1.0 (whole) credit = 1,200 Rapid Rewards Points
Rapid Rewards Dollars earned prior to February 28, 2011 through spend on the Rapid Rewards Credit Card from Chase, but not deposited into the Member’s Rapid Rewards account because the 1,200 Reward Dollar = 1 Rapid Rewards credit threshold wasn’t reached at the time the Member’s February statement was issued, will be posted to the Member’s Rapid Rewards account on or after February 28, 2011 as Rapid Rewards Points at the rate of one Rapid Rewards Point per Rapid Rewards Dollar. For further information Rapid Rewards Credit Cardmembers can visit www.chase.com/southwest, or call the telephone number on the back of their card to access current Credit Card account information.
After the transition date, Members will be able to request past flight points for flight(s) flown prior to the transition date. Flights flown within the past 12 months of transition will be eligible for past flight points. Members will receive 1,200 Rapid Rewards Points for each one-way flight requested (roundtrip flights will earn 2,400 Rapid Rewards Points) for flights flown prior to the transition date. Past flight point requests can be made online at www.southwest.com.
A-List and Companion Pass status
All Members with A-List and/or Companion Pass status at the time of program launch will retain their status in the new program.
At the time of transition, Members whose A-List or Companion Pass status expires on or between March 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011 will have their expiration date extended to December 31, 2011.
To maintain or earn A-List status beyond December 31, 2012, the Member must qualify either by flying 32 one-way flights within a rolling 12 month period or by qualifying in the calendar year of 2011 by meeting the qualification requirements defined in the Rapid Rewards Terms and Conditions. The rolling 12 month qualification will no longer apply after December 31, 2011.
To maintain or earn Companion Pass status beyond December 31, 2011, the Member must qualify by earning 100 credits from Partners or flights within a rolling 12 month period or by qualifying in the calendar year 2011 by meeting qualification requirements defined in the Rapid Rewards Term and Conditions. The rolling 12 month qualification will no longer apply after December 31, 2011
At the time of transition, Members whose A-List or Companion Pass status expires on or after January 1, 2012 will have their expiration date extended to December 31, 2012. To maintain A-List and/or Companion Pass status beyond December 31, 2012, the Member must re-qualify in the calendar year of 2012 by meeting the qualification requirements defined in the Rapid Rewards Terms and Conditions.
Members who have an active Companion at time of the transition date will not be required to re-declare their Companion. Additionally, all active Companions will retain the same expiration date as their Member.
Reservations for Companions booked prior to the transition date for travel dates beyond the transition date will not be affected by the transition.
Additional Terms
All Rapid Rewards Standard and Freedom Awards are transferrable; however, Awards may not be sold, purchased, brokered, or bartered. Awards have no cash value and are void if sold, purchased, brokered, or bartered.
It is against Rapid Rewards rules to offer to buy or sell Awards via internet auction sites or classified advertisements, whether the transaction is completed or not.
All transactions in the Rapid Rewards program are subject to review and adjustment by Southwest Airlines. Southwest Airlines will cancel the Member's account, A-List Membership (if applicable), Companion Pass (if applicable), Awards, and any associated reservations if misuse or violation of Rapid Rewards rules is suspected.
If you have any questions regarding this program, visit the Rapid Rewards Frequently Asked Questions at www.southwest.com.
What are the Rapid Rewards Terms and Conditions?
(Effective March 1, 2011)
Rapid Rewards is a rewards program offered by Southwest Airlines Co. for Southwest Airlines Customers. For purposes of these terms and conditions (hereinafter "program rules" or "rules") of membership, the terms "Southwest," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Southwest Airlines Co., and the term "the program" refers to Rapid Rewards.
Membership
Membership in Rapid Rewards will be granted by Southwest Airlines through enrollment at www.southwest.com/rapidrewards.
Membership in the Rapid Rewards program is for individual travelers only. Individuals must enroll separately and may not pool or combine points with other Members. Corporations and other entities may not be enrolled as Members.
Members are limited to one account. A Member must provide his or her legal name matching his or her government issued photo identification, address, phone number, e-mail address, gender, and date of birth. Account specific information will be sent via e-mail to the primary e-mail address in the Member's Rapid Rewards account. Members are responsible for notifying Southwest Airlines immediately of any change of email or physical address.
Upon enrollment, Members' accounts are active for 24 months. Members' accounts will remain active as long as the Member earns points at least once every 24 months. The Member's account expiration date will be extended 24 months from the date of the last earned Point. Points earned from flying Southwest flights and points earned from Rapid Rewards Partners will extend the account activity date. If a Member fails to earn a point in 24 months, the Member's account will become inactive and all points and Promotional Awards will be forfeited.
Southwest Airlines reserves the right to cancel the membership of any Member with no points in the Member's account or a Member who has earned no points for at least 24 consecutive months.
Name change requests must be submitted in writing to Rapid Rewards, P.O. Box 36657, Dallas, Texas 75235. The written request must contain the Member's Rapid Rewards account number, along with photocopies of legal documentation (ex. Driver's license, marriage certificate, etc.) and an informal letter indicating legal name. Members may also update e-mail and USPS addresses by visiting MySouthwest at www.southwest.com, and creating a password so they can access the account and change account information at their convenience. Please note that name change requests cannot be made online.
Southwest Airlines periodically updates Rapid Rewards mailing addresses automatically through change of address forms submitted to the U.S. Postal Service. If you do not want your address updated by this means, a request must be submitted in writing to Rapid Rewards, P.O. Box 36657, Dallas, Texas 75235.
Southwest Airlines permits children under the age of 18 to become Members of the Rapid Rewards program. Points received through the child's activity will be deposited into the child's account. Account notifications will be sent to the child's address on record (not necessarily the address of the parent who purchased the tickets for the child). In a custody situation, either parent or guardian who wishes to challenge the address on record will be required to provide Southwest Airlines with court orders indicating which parent or guardian has the legal right to establish the address of the child.
Earning Rapid Rewards Points
Points can be earned by traveling on Southwest Airlines flights, using any eligible Rapid Rewards Credit Card from Chase, or through qualifying purchases with our Partners. Terms and Conditions guiding transactions with our Partner applies.
Points can only be earned by the person whose name appears in the Rapid Rewards account and who actually travels, regardless of who purchased or paid for the ticket. No points will be issued to a Member if the name on the government-issued photo identification does not match the name on the Rapid Rewards account.
Members will not earn points for travel by other Southwest Customers or Rapid Rewards Members, even if they paid for the other person's travel.
Points may not be transferred from one Member's account to another, or to a Member's estate, or as part of a settlement. Points do not have an expiration date and will continue to remain active and valid as long as the Member's account is active. If a Member's account becomes inactive, all points and Promotional Awards in the account will be forfeited, leaving a zero balance in the Member’s account.
To earn points for each Southwest Airlines flight, Members must provide their Rapid Rewards account number when making their reservation or upon checkin prior to commencement of travel. Members who fail to provide their account number can request past flight points for up to 12 months after their flight by visiting www.southwest.com
The estimated Rapid Rewards Points to be earned that are displayed during the flight booking process are an estimate only and are based on the advertised fare. Rapid Rewards Points are earned and deposited into the Member's account after action has been taken on the entire ticket (i.e., flown, used as payment toward another ticket, refunded, or a combination thereof). The actual number of points earned for each individual flight is calculated after completion of the entire ticket and is based on the final dollar amount paid for the fare and fare product purchased for that flight. Airport-assessed Passenger Facility Charges (PFCs), federal segment fees, government-imposed September 11th Security Fee, and other taxes and fees are not eligible to earn points. Any changes to the original booking that result in a change in fare will result in a change to the number of points earned.
A Member who flies only part of a ticket will not earn any points unless the Member takes action to complete the unused portion of the ticket. The Member can do so by applying the unflown portion of the ticket as payment for a new ticket or by requesting a refund for the unflown portion of the ticket (only allowable on refundable tickets). Cancellation of an entire ticket or a portion of a ticket is not considered taking action on a ticket. The Member will not accrue any points for any portion of the ticket that has been flown until the entire ticket has been completed (i.e., flown, used as payment toward another ticket, refunded, or a combination thereof). If the Member fails to take action to complete the partially flown ticket before the ticket expiration date, the Member will not accrue any points for the flown segments of the expired ticket.
Nonrevenue travel, including Reward and Companion Pass tickets, is not eligible for earning points. Other travel not eligible for earning points includes, but is not limited to, charter flights, group travel, service-charged, reduce-rate, tradeout, extra seat, and paper tickets.
A Member will have the ability to purchase Rapid Rewards Points. Point purchases must be paid for with a credit card and can be made online at southwest.com. Rapid Rewards Points will be offered in blocks of 1,000 with a minimum purchase of 2,000 points and a maximum of 40,000 points.
Redeeming Rapid Rewards Points for Southwest Reward Travel
Rapid Rewards Points can be redeemed for any available seat on any Southwest Airlines flight. The number of points required to purchase a reward flight on Southwest Airlines is based on the advertised fare for the fare product purchased and will be available through the flight booking process on www.southwest.com.
Members can use their points to purchase seats for themselves or others; however, the Member is solely responsible for making any changes to the itinerary after booking. A Passenger traveling on a ticket using points from another Member's account will not be allowed to make changes to the itinerary. The Passenger must contact the Member and have the Member make any necessary changes.
The number of points required to purchase a reward flight is subject to change at any time until the booking is confirmed. Additionally, any changes to the itinerary after the initial booking may result in a change to the amount of points required to purchase the reward flight.
Special fares, such as senior, youth, infant, child, military, and government fares are not eligible to be purchased with points. Other travel not eligible for purchase with points includes, but is not limited to, charter flights, group travel, vacation packages, service-charged, reduced-rate, tradeout, extra seat, and paper tickets, and travel purchased through a travel agent.
Reward travel is subject to a government-imposed September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 per round trip and must be paid by credit card when the reservation is made. Any additional tax liability, if imposed, is the responsibility of the traveler.
Rapid Rewards A-List and A-List Preferred
Members who fly 25 Southwest Airlines flight segments or earn 35,000 Tier Qualifying Points per calendar year will qualify for A-List Status. Members who fly 50 Southwest Airlines flight segments or earn 70,000 Tier Qualifying Points per calendar year will qualify for A-List Preferred Status. A flight segment is defined as a one-way trip on Southwest Airlines from an origin city to a destination city, including any intermediate stops and/or connections on Southwest Airlines. Tier Qualifying Points are earned through the purchase of revenue flights or through the use of the Rapid Rewards Premier Card from Chase. Points earned through purchases with Rapid Rewards Partners (with the exception of the Rapid Rewards Premier Card from Chase), purchased points, bonus points or points earned via a promotion (unless otherwise noted) are not Tier Qualifying Points and do not count toward A-List and A-List Preferred qualification.
Members who have a Rapid Rewards Premier Card from Chase will earn 1,500 Tier Qualifying Points for every $10,000 in credit card spend, up to 15,000 Tier Qualifying Points per year.
A-List and A-List Preferred qualification will be based on a calendar year. Once A-List or A-List Preferred Status is earned, the Member can begin enjoying the benefits immediately. The Member will maintain A-List or A-List Preferred Status for the remainder of the calendar in which the status was earned and for the entire calendar year immediately following. To continue receiving A-List or A-List Preferred benefits, the Member must re-qualify each calendar year.
Southwest Airlines will automatically reserve a boarding position for A-List and A-List Preferred Members beginning 36 hours prior to scheduled departure of the Member's confirmed Southwest Airlines flights to ensure the Member will receive the best available boarding position. Southwest Airlines will "reserve" boarding positions for A-List and A-List Preferred Members, but Members are still responsible for printing their boarding passes. Passengers who do not obtain a boarding pass and are not present and available for boarding in the departure gate area at least ten minutes prior to scheduled departure time may have their reserved space cancelled and will not be eligible for denied boarding compensation.
Reserved boarding privileges will not be provided in instances where the A-List or A-List Preferred Member's reservation meets any of the following criteria:
reservations booked less than 36 hours prior to scheduled departure
changes made to an existing reservation less than 36 hours prior to a scheduled departure
standby travel on a different flight than what was originally confirmed
flights taken after a Member’s A-List membership expires
irregular flight operations may also affect A-List and A-List Preferred membership benefits
Reserved boarding privileges will only be provided for A-List and A-List Preferred Members. If an A-List or A-List Preferred Member is traveling on a multiple-Passenger reservation, reserved boarding privileges will not be provided for non-A-List Members in the same reservation.
For A-List and A-List Preferred Members who are also Companion Pass Holders, reserved boarding privileges will not be provided for the Member's designated Companion unless he/she is also an A-List or A-List Preferred Member.
All qualifying A-List Members have access to Fly By Priority® Check-In and Security Lane Access (where available). Members must present their A-List Membership card or boarding pass to access Fly By lanes.
Companion Pass
Members who earn 110,000 points from flying Southwest Airlines flights and/or points earned through Rapid Rewards Partners or who fly 100 Southwest Airlines flight segments per calendar year will qualify for a Companion Pass, which entitles a designated traveling Companion to fly free with the Member for one year on Southwest Airlines flights.
Companion Pass Qualifying Points are earned from revenue flights, points issued on Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Credit Cards, and points earned from Rapid Rewards Partners. Purchased points and points earned from program enrollment, Tier bonuses, flight bonuses, and Partner bonuses do not count toward Companion Pass status.
Companion Pass qualification will be based on a calendar year. Once Companion Pass status is earned, the Member can begin using his/her Companion Pass immediately. The Member will maintain Companion Pass status for the remainder of the calendar year in which the status was earned and for the entire calendar year immediately following. To continue receiving Companion Pass privileges, the Member must re-qualify each calendar year.
Companion Pass travel has no blackout dates or seat restrictions. The Member will automatically be notified of Companion Pass eligibility and provided with Companion Pass rules and instructions for designating a Companion. The Member is limited to one Companion Pass at any time; however the designated Companion can be changed up to three times during the validity period.
The Member and Companion must travel together on the same plane. If the Companion is not traveling with the sponsoring Member, the Companion will be required to pay for the ticket. If the Member knowingly violates the terms of the Companion Pass program and intentionally books the Companion for travel on a flight not accompanied by the Member, the Member will be notified of the violation and Southwest Airlines reserves the right to terminate the Member’s Companion Pass privilege and cancel the Member’s account.
Companion Pass travel is subject to the government-imposed September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 per round-trip, which must be paid by credit card when the reservation is made. Any additional tax liability, if imposed, is the responsibility of the Companion Pass traveler.
Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Credit Card from Chase
Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Chase Cardmembers earn points that are transferred to the Rapid Rewards Program for each dollar spent on their credit card. Southwest Airlines is responsible for the redemption of Rapid Rewards points toward benefits and services. Existing Rapid Rewards Credit Cardmembers must visit www.chase.com/southwest to view the Terms & Conditions associated with their credit card account, or call 1-800-792-0001 to access current credit card account information.
Rapid Rewards More Rewards
In order to participate in the "More Rewards" program and redeem Rapid Rewards points for items other than Southwest travel, Member must be a Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Chase Credit Cardmember with an account that is open and not in default. All Rapid Rewards Points are eligible for redemption, including those earned through flights, purchases with Rapid Rewards Partners, and from spend on the Rapid Rewards Credit Card. Southwest Airlines is responsible for the redemption of Rapid Rewards Points towards benefits and services. To view the Terms & Conditions associated with "More Rewards" orders and point redemptions visit the More Rewards site at www.southwest.com/morerewards.
Additional Program Terms
In addition to Rapid Rewards Points, Southwest Airlines may from time to time offer "bonus" points or promotional Awards, partnership programs, or promotional incentives for Rapid Rewards Members' use, such as Drink Coupon Books, rental car discounts, hotel discounts, or discounts at recreational parks. Such offers are not a part of the Program’s formal award structure and may be temporary. Southwest Airlines reserves the right to modify or eliminate such offers at any time. These offers are void where prohibited by law.
Southwest Airlines may, from time to time, share information about Rapid Rewards Members with other businesses that may make special offers available through their respective communication channels. If you do not want to receive these special offers, you must notify Rapid Rewards either by phone or in writing.
All Rapid Rewards membership cards are the property of Southwest Airlines and must be surrendered upon request. Rapid Rewards membership cards are not credit cards. The membership card is nontransferrable, and photo identification will be required. Southwest Airlines is not responsible for lost or stolen membership cards.
Rapid Rewards Points, Promotional Awards, and Drink Coupons may not be sold, purchased, brokered, or bartered. The Rapid Rewards Points, Promotional Awards, and Drink Coupon Books have no cash value and are void if sold, purchased, brokered, or bartered.
All transactions in the Rapid Rewards program are subject to review and adjustment by Southwest Airlines. Southwest Airlines may cancel the Member's account, A-List or A-List Preferred Membership (if applicable), Companion Pass (if applicable), Promotional Awards and any associated reservations if misuse or violation of Rapid Rewards rules is suspected.
It is against Rapid Rewards rules and regulations to offer to buy or sell Rapid Rewards Points or Promotional Awards via Internet auction sites or classified advertisements. Such actions may result in the termination of the Member's account, regardless of whether or not the transaction is completed.
If you have any questions regarding this program, visit the Rapid Rewards Frequently Asked Questions page at www.southwest.com.
What are the A-List Rules and Regulations?
A-List qualification is based on taking 25 qualifying one-way flights or earning 35,000 Tier Qualifying Points in a calendar year. A qualifying flight for Rapid Rewards A-List status is a one-way revenue flight on Southwest Airlines from an origin city to a destination city, including any intermediate stops and/or connections on Southwest Airlines. Tier Qualifying Points are earned from revenue flights or through select Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Credit Cards and are exclusive of bonuses and promotions.
A-List qualification will be based on the calendar year and once A-List status is earned, the Member can begin enjoying the benefits immediately. The Member will maintain his/her A-List status for the remainder of the calendar year in which status is earned, and the entire calendar year immediately following. To continue receiving their A-List benefits, Members must re-qualify each year. (For example, a Member who earns A-List status on July 15, 2011, will maintain A-List status for the remainder of 2011 and all of 2012. Beginning January 1, 2012, the Member must complete 25 qualifying one-way flights or accrue 35,000 Tier Qualifying Points by December 31, 2012 to re-qualify. Upon doing so, his/her A-List status will be extended to December 31, 2013.)
Once a Member qualifies for A-List status, he/she is entitled to Priority Boarding. This means that Southwest Airlines will automatically reserve a boarding position for the Member 36 hours prior to each of the Member's confirmed Southwest Airlines' flights provided the Member added his/her Rapid Rewards account number to their reservation and made his/her reservation at least 36 hours prior to the flight Priority Boarding will apply only to flights that a Member completes while his/her A-List status is active.
Southwest Airlines automatically reserves a boarding pass for A-List Members beginning 36 hours prior to scheduled departure of the Member's confirmed Southwest Airlines flight. Southwest Airlines "reserves" boarding positions for A-List Members, but Members are responsible for "printing" their boarding pass. Passengers who do not obtain a boarding pass and are not present and available for boarding in the departure gate area at least ten minutes prior to scheduled departure time may have their reserved space cancelled and will not be eligible for denied boarding compensation. Reserved boarding will not be provided in instances where A-List Members' reservations meet any of the following criteria:
Reservations booked less than 36 hours prior to scheduled departur
Changes made to an existing reservation within 36 hours of a scheduled fligh
Standby travel on a different flight than what was originally confirme
Flights taken after a Member's A-List Membership expires
Irregular operations may affect A-List Membership benefits
For an A-List Member to receive benefits for each reservation, the Member must save his/her Rapid Rewards account number to each reservation at least 36 hours prior to checkin. Reserved boarding privileges will be provided for A-List Members for both revenue and Rapid Rewards reward travel on Southwest Airlines-operated flights as long as the above requirement is met.
If a Member is unable to provide his/her Member account number at the time of booking, he/she will need to add the number at least 36 hours prior to scheduled departure since this is when boarding passes will be reserved for A-List Members. Members can add a Rapid Rewards account number to an existing reservation via southwest.com by logging into their Rapid Rewards account and visiting the "Travel Tools" section on the site. Members can also contact our toll-free Customer Support and Services number or our toll-free Rapid Rewards number 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Reserved boarding privileges will not be provided in instances where the Member's reservation meets any of the following criteria: reservations booked less than 36 hours prior to scheduled departure; changes made to an existing reservation within 36 hours of a scheduled flight; standby travel on a different flight than what was originally confirmed; flights taken after a Member's A-List status expires. Irregular operations may also affect a Member's benefits on Rapid Rewards' A-List boarding priority.
Priority standby will be provided only for A-List or A-List Preferred Members. If an A-List or A-List Preferred Member is traveling on a multiple-Passenger reservation, priority standby will not be provided for non-A-List or non-A-List Preferred Members in the same reservation. For A-List and A-List Preferred Members who are also Companion Pass Holders, priority standby will not be provided for the Member's designated Companion unless he/she also is an A-List or A-List Preferred Member.
All qualifying A-List and A-List Preferred Members benefit from Fly By® Priority Check- In and Security Lane Access (where available). Members should present his/her A-List or A-List Preferred Membership card to access a Fly By lane. A Southwest Airlines boarding pass or security document with A-List printed on the front may also be used for Fly By Priority Lane access.
All qualifying A-List Members will receive a 25% bonus on base points earned from eligible Southwest Airlines flights, have access to the Dedicated A-List Member Phone Line; and have Priority Standby privileges.
