High end steakhouse = Fogo De Chao. (westheimer road, Galleria Area)
Great BBQ but not too expensive = Goode Company (Kirby @ 59-South Freeway).
Downtown Houston is a good 30-plus miles from IAH airport. Galleria area is a few more miles away.
Will you stay at the airport area or more in the city? That will let people give you better recommendations (somewhere closer to your hotel).
