There was no pre meal appetizer - no chips and nuts or 'amuse bouche'.
There was no starter choice.
The dessert was tiny.
Wine choice was ok - but it arrived so late into the meal service. I chose a Graubünden pinot noir which was too light for my lamb choice.

Here I disagree. For me both ZRH and CDG worked well as a transit point, but i'm used to CDG and only once have I missed a connetion there, due to a late departure from IST. ZRH lounges didn't have as good a breakfastchoice in comparison to CDG, and the AF showers are better. The LX B gate lounge didn't even have toilets in them.
