I did the SFO-ATL flight on a 767 in F last Nov. – Red eye 10pm-5am-ish time if I remember correctly. I had an SWU and the fare was a K so I used the certificate. The before bedtime drink with the in seat video was nice.
Would I use miles for the upgrade? Being a DM, I usually hope for a complementary upgrade. I don’t think I would use miles (unless you have them to burn). Just sweat it out in Y.
