christep's comments about the staff are spot on. The ITC-One seems to have a very young staff, and it took them a few stays to get the concept of a suite upgrade right (a chat with Mr. Anand, the hotel GM, probably helped as well). Haven't had a problem since - they even put me in a suite last week when I was only at the hotel for about 3 hours!

Am off to Bangalore later in the week for a stay at the ITC Windsor Sheraton there. Although the Maurya is nice, the Windsor is my favorite Sheraton in India. I did a trip report on it last year, but can't locate the link at the moment.
