In the Hyatt SF case - I used my suite upgrade ability, of which you get four per year as a diamond. Their idea of a suite was to just attach two rooms and use the second for a couch and table. So, for me being alone, that much space was useless. Percentage-wise that was essentially a 100% increase.

So, adding 25% would be just about right for my needs. A little more breathing "room".

I know it originally sounded contradictory, so hopefully this clarifies it a bit?
