Wow. I'm paying almost 200 GBP for the Trafalgar Hilton. I like the Savoy idea but being suited up for a drink is a drag. I believe this is still the policy for the Savoy. For our stay I reserched all SPG and Hilton options. Consulted with SanDiego1K and decided upon Hilton. As we get closer and know we are going I will switch it to a pre-paid stay. I think this is around 125 GBP. If I remember correctly first rate above includes tax which is always a rude item on the bill and full breakfest. These items along with Diamond status made my decision. My trip is in October 2003. Regards
