It's been a long time since I lived in that area, but I recall lots of motels on Sunrise Highway and right in the Oceanside area. But we're talking a lot of years since I lived there. I vaguely recall that there might have been a very nice hotel in Garden City, but, again, we're talking a long time ago and when I searched the travel and big 3 hotel web sites, I didn't see anything any better than staying at the airport.
