Thanks for the correction - it is 355 days. I did not mean to imply anything negative to QF, but
the net effect is we are left with the dregs - and I doubt AA will upgrade its systems to deal with that until they get the presumed new IT system off the ground, which seems to be going as well as the 787.

That AA's systems and AAdvantage's T&Cs can only handle bookings up to 330 days prior to departure is a limitation of AA and nothing to do with QF leaving dregs for others. BA , for example iiirc, members can also book awards at the same time prior to departure.
Perhaps it would be good if AA addressed the limitation in their systems that leaves them lagging 25 days behind on being able to do inventory
