Okay..this is what SPG just told me on the phone.
"THe discount wasn't allowed because you booked an "internet only" rate."
Well, it is NOT an internet only rate. It is a "Best Available Rate". It says so right on my confirmation.
"Oh", she said. "Please hold".
Back on the line she said "Yes, it is a "BA Rate", but it is a number 10 Best Available. That discount is only good on number 5 and below Best Available Rates".
I don't know from 1-10 Best Available Rates. What I DO know is that I was charged an energy surcharge on EVERY rate. Granted,I DID argue them off my bill sometimes.
