No... I have an ipad too and that was one of my concerns bringing it to places that only provides wired connection. Probably this is the issue of most of the current generation tablet PC.. Since Apple is kina good at making 'useful sometimes but useless in most of the time' accessories, hope apple can make add-on cable slot or something.. even though it will gonna be priced at $39.99
