Checked in a couple of days ago. Nice welcome at check-in, staff friendly and accommodating. Needed a 2 bedded room so suite ug options didn't come into play. Hotel was booked solid anyway. I'd reserved an ocean view room w/balcony... they put me in a nice ocean front room on the top floor... great view. Rooms are pretty large for standard rooms and I like the design... a nice open feel... great bathrooms with bath/large walkin shower combo. Seems like all the rooms have balconies. Only complaint is that room has little closet space for hanging clothes. I was in the new building (not the original Eden Roc which has been renovated).

This hotel is a perfect option for those who are looking for a nice hotel on the beach with some style and all the services at a lower price point than places like FBleau, Ritz, W, etc. While not as grand or polished as those places, I think the Eden Roc provides better value... esp. for Marriott elites.
