Here's the O&D data for that route for the last 4 quarters from the

Consumer Airfare Report

(See Table 6)

Q4 2009 - 350 daily pax (175 PDEW)
AS mkt share - 49.05%

Q1 2010 - 338 daily pax (169 PDEW)
AS mkt share - 45.57%

Q2 2010 - 417 daily pax (208.5 PDEW)
AS mkt share - 65.02%

Q3 2010 - 403 daily pax (201.50 PDEW)
AS mkt share - 62.52%

I don't understand how these numbers could be so far off from from the data you cited.

BTW, another advantage that WN has at AUS is that they're a signatory carrier, whereas AS is not. Non signatory carriers at AUS pay double the landing fee rate as the signatory carriers.
I honestly don't know why the numbers are different. The Consumer Airfare Report claims the source of their data is the US DOT O&D Survey which is the same database I'm pulling. I'm using apgDat which is a respected industry database compiler. It is saying that the number of O&D pax on average for year end Q3 2010 on AUS-SJC is 199 total (non-directional) and the average fare is $163 one way.
