FWIW, was on UA 563 last night PHL-ORD (fully loaded 752), which left the gate 2 minutes late and got the ORD gate 3 minutes late (according to Flight Track), i.e., on time departures and arrivals.

Was fully expecting a significant delay and was pleasantly surprised. Props to UA! But thinking that was also the result of it being a mainline flight on a big plane that was inbound from DEN. Several UX and CO flights were either cancelled or delayed at PHL yesterday. (As an aside, did a double-take at the plane parked at CO gate D6: had the CO globe on the tail but a big ole "UNITED" on the front top. Hadn't seen something like that at PHL before... better get used to it, I suppose.)
The wind was something else, for sure; our plane was rocking sideways while sitting at the gate. While we were waiting to board, saw some interesting landings on 27R from our vantage point at D11.

Couple of passengers ahead of me in line (this flight always has one of the worst cases of red carpet gate lice you'll ever see) were talking about their landing at PHL an hour or so before... apparently the pilot pulled up after partially touching down and had to go back around since the wind pushed him too far down the runway on approach. As for our flight, it was one of the bumpier takeoffs in my memory, and relatively rocky for the first 15 minutes or so, but then smoothed out and was a great flight the rest of the way.
