Ironically, on the same day I got this explanation, I also got an email from DL saying (quote):

Thanks for flying Business Class and come back soon.

Methinks I see both sides of their mouths moving simultaneously. Feel free to weigh in.

This is the thing that's keeping me from booking 2 P tix to HNL on the A333 this coming holiday season. What do they mean by that? If available? I understand the complications with IROPs but this implies that a capricious decision by someone can land us back in Y...

Anyone had this happen to them on a P fare?
