I'm trying to secure a second seat on a mileage saver J award ticket from LAX-JFK as part of an int'l award ticket. So far, I've been able to secure only one seat on two separate flights 1 1/2 hours apart. Each flight had only 1 U seat available. I do have an EF alert created. When upgrades start to get processed, does anyone know if R closely equals U inventory? Would U have priority over R upgrades when it comes to standby?
