Looking for some quick help. Tried to search already, but nothing quite on point. What exactly is "Empower"? I will be in F from IAH to LHR in July. I understand that I might have NF, but probably not, as they are switching the route from a 744 to a 772. If I get lucky and get NF, I should be able to plug in my USA power cord directly into the seat, correct? But I also want to plan on getting OF. Currently, as I understand it, the 772 with GE power (which is what I think I will get because there are 14 F seats on the seating map) with OF have something called Empower. What is that? Will I be able to plug in my computer? Do I need a converter from the USA standard plug? Also, I've heard that it will run my computer but not charge the battery. Is that true? Good thing I got these tix with AA miles, no way I'd spend $10k per ticket and have a chance with no AVOD and no seat power.
