I was using my points to book a five night REWARDS stay in a Marriott in Asia. The problem was that I couldn't get 5 consecutive days in the Marriott since one of the days were booked solid. I called the platinum desk and asked if they could do anything about it. They called the Marriott in Asia for me and tried to get me in for the day that was totally booked. They told me that they are currently working on it and I would be notified soon. I checked my account at the Marriott website this evening and it looks like my rewards stay for 5 nights went through. So thanks again Marriott for helping me out!

wow.. this is simply great more so because it was an award booking ^
