This happened to me while I was using FireFox. I waited a couple of days and. sure enough, the order "disappeared.
I than put the order in while using Internet Explorer. It went through fine.
I've had several other issues using FireFox on secure sites while ordering with a CC. It may have something to do with the settings I have on, but I won't bother checking since it's easier just to use another browser.
