Fair enough, but I think earlier you said you wouldn't ask for a wheelchair so as to ensure an UD seat. As someone who also has an 80 year old mother who has great difficulty walking distances, I'd be far more concerned for her needs than my own in securing the UD. A CW seat is the same whether upstairs or down.
