I just fired off another complaint to DL and also emailed all my expat friends in China. This is just ridiculous, esp the changes overnight. Flying to Urumqi/Kashgar will cost you 60K miles now. What a freaking joke. moondog is right, fly to Japan and it's cheaper.

moondog is completely right. DL is going the CZ route which is ridiculous since as he points out earnings on CZ is done in KM, so you get more for the flight. Also, if you didn't notice DL dropped EQM and RDM mileage earning on some of CZ's lower fares. I'm sure when MU and CA formally join the ST the fare exceptions will be just as horrible.

As we're well into the year already, my plan is to finish flying DL this year and then status match to the *A, specifically on CO.
