I flew four times last year to visit a very special woman whom I am hoping will become my partner. I live in Seattle and she lives in Colorado Springs. She is talking about moving in with me since she loves Seattle so much, too bad same sex marriage isn't legal here.

Anyway my beef with Sky Miles is this. I signed up for it last year as I knew I would be flying a lot, before last year I had only flown two or three times in my entire life. I signed up for Sky Miles because Delta is supposed to give its Sky Miles members access to First Class check-in lines, better security lines, faster baggage handling, first class upgrades, first to board the plane, and Sky Club Room access. When I went to check-in for my flight, I went to the Sky Miles line and was told that I had to go to general checkin. I was pissed, why the hell do I have to do that if I am a member? I also found out that they now won't give me Sky Club Room access, First Class upgrades, faster security lines, first to board, etc......In fact, they wont give me ANY of their advertised benefits!!!! This is so wrong!!! I told them I was one of their members and even showed them my card, I got NOTHING!!!!!!!! What the hell is the point of Sky Miles if they wont give these benefits?????? I will be flying at least as much again this year so between last year and this year, I should be over 30,000 sky miles, including getting miles for purchases I had made. I am ready to cancel and go to US Airways. This is insane. For all the travel and Sky Miles I have, Delta wont give me nothing! As a member, I have a right to these advertised benefits!!!!
