Another sandwhich that I love was found at an Italian deli in Stamford, CT called "Victors," which was eventually taken over by Bobby Valentine and changed to "Victory Deli." It now appears to be closed.

In any event, the sandwhich was called the Turkey Lew and featured Boars Head Turkey Breast on sliced Italian bread with roasted red peppers, fresh mozzerella, onion, basil and Hellman's mayo. A variation used roast beef in lieu of turkey.

When at a good NY Italian deli, I order a version of this, but usually on a hard roll. Typically turkey, but if the deli has extemely rare roast beef, I'll get it with roast beef.
